Senior Business Analyst - Regulatory BCBS / Basel III (4291)

For a 6 month project at our client site in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst - Regulatory BCBS / Basel III.

The team has the objective to deliver within the Regulatory Programs a strategic solution, which meets the BCBS requirements documented for Equity Investments in Funds (BCBS 266), Securitization Processing (BCBS D374) and Basel 3 Standard Approach RWA calculation (ERV).

Your Qualifications:

  • Track record working as Business Analsyst within banking and with strong regulatory background
  • Appropriate business education within the regulatory reporting subject (Basel III, Capital Reporting)
  • Comprehensive understanding of business processes and corresponding IT solutions for full month end processing
  • Several years of experience in the regulatory reporting environment (SNB, FINMA, PRA, BoE, …)
  • Technical knowledge including Data Warehousing (SQL) and experience of regulatory reporting tools
  • Excellent spoken and written English, German skills will be an advantage

Your Responsibilities:

  • Analysis and gathering of requirements from a reporting and sourcing perspective
  • Liaise with the upstream data provider to ensure additional requirements are reflected accordingly
  • Drive change with SMEs and IT contacts and coordinate project delivery to ensure that the needs of business stakeholders are met on time in budget and quality
  • Drive overall work stream delivery to ensure that all requirements are addressed
  • Working jointly with IT and business organizations to implement effective business solutions

Lead Business Analyst/Solution Architect - Programm level (4288)

For a project at our client's site, an Insurance Company based in Brussels (Belgium), we are looking for an experienced Lead Business Analyst/Solution Architect - Programm level.

This is an exciting hybrid role with 70% elements of a Senior Business Analyst and 30% elements of a Solution Architect.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology and 10 or more years of experience in financial area
  • 5+ years working on high risk projects or programs, with a proven track record of delivery
  • Worked on projects for various business communities / areas within the insurance sector
  • Background in Financial Services as well as good knowledge of Business Process Modeling
  • Expert know how of Requirements Analysis, analytical thinking and strong communication skills
  • SCRUM Master certificate or equivalent
  • ITIL service management - for IT projects and programmes
  • Experience in IT Architecture
  • Familiar with Application Testing is a big plus

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the Business Analysis content and activities for program / strategic projects
  • Verifie content for large / high risk projects / programs in line with strategy
  • Conducting feasibility studies to identify best solution
  • Support program manager in building Business Case, including cost / benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope and development of a high level plan
  • Produce requirement specification and outline solution design documents throughout the project lifecylce, incorporating change requests and finalization of requirements documentation
  • Facilitation of strategy sessions to ensure successful outcome in addition to ensuring outcomes are in line with overall group strategy
  • Drafting and maintaining Business Analysis vision, mission, strategic plans, goals and measures in relation to project / business unit
  • Manage the KPI measurement of implemented solution and conducts route cause analysis if benefits not achieved
  • Manage the analysis of requirement risk, traceability matrix and prioritizes requirements
  • Contribute to the delivery of assigned IT implementation of strategic programs for specific vertical lines of business by collaborating with BC&IT contacts on approach for project involvement
  • Maintain understanding of the functionality and use of the IT application portfolio for most vertical lines of business involved in the programs
  • Utilize the group operations and technology governance process, to ensure architectural design approval and that the IT architectural standards and practices are followed through project involvement

For a project at our client's site, an Insurance Company based in Brussels (Belgium), we are looking for an experienced Senior PMO - Policy & Claims.

Your Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a PMO within Financial Services
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or equivalent
  • Successful delivery of control services across a defined sized Project, or Program or Portfolio at relevant organization level
  • Selects from a range of choices the appropriate Processes, methods and tools required to support the Project, Program or Portfolio
  • Experience in acting as the first point of contact on Matters of Governance and approvals
  • Controls the data held in the annual plan
  • Demonstrates a cost conscious approach to the achievement of individual and Project, Program or Portfolio objectives
  • Ability for regular travels to the Head Office in Zurich
  • Fluent in English (oral/written)

About the role:

  • Controls and maintains portfolio, program or project operating methods, monthly financial reporting, gathering and analysis of third party resource demand to ensure projects are successful
  • Working with customers to ensure data quality and manages change control to ensure senior management have appropriate oversight
  • Acts as first point of reference on content of the annual plan
  • Tracks Project, Program or Portfolio performance metrics, providing facts, highlighting risks and opportunities to stakeholders
  • Performs quality assurance of Plan view data, liaising with Project Managers – Program Directors to correct or improve the quality of the data
  • Prepares and co-ordinates communications across the Portfolio, Program or Project, including accurate dissemination of governance decisions and tracks follow-on actions to completion
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative reviews of Project, Program, and Portfolio Management deliverable's

In this challenging role, you will define a new vision for the Business Intelligence Platform. This would be a position in an entrepreneurship setup.

Your Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager in large projects in global companies, within Financial Services
  • Able to adapt to and apply different delivery methodologies including SCRUM, Waterfall
  • Certification in PMP and/or Scrum Master
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
  • Complying with requirements to meet Stakeholder needs and expectations

For a short term project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / PMO - Treasury / Regulatory.

In this role you’ll be working in the IMO Treasury Change team in Corporate Center Finance. The focus is on Regulatory Initiatives as well as Treasury Projects.

Your Qualifications:
